    S. Andrew Hong
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Andrew Hong has been providing complete veterinary care for Tampa, Lutz and the surrounding area since 1989. He attended Seoul National University, where he received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine Degree as well as a Master of Science Degree in veterinary clinical science and internal medicine.

  • Nicole Restrepo
    Veterinary Technician

    Nicole started off shadowing for Dr. Hong in July and was hired in September of 2012. She enjoys riding horses and hopes to have two of her own one day. She is a full-time student at the University of South Florida aspiring to be a veterinarian specializing in exotic animals.

  • Charlotte Hamilton
    Veterinary Technician

    Charlotte started working for Dr. Hong in May of 2014. She has one dog, Scout, a Jack Russel/chihuahua mix. She is currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technology Program at HCC Plant City to become a licensed veterinary technician and pursue her bachelor’s in veterinary technology. Her ultimate goal is to work in a zoo or wildlife sanctuary and work with endangered animals.

    Veterinary Technician

    Amber started working for Dr. Hong in July of 2015.  She attends the University of South Florida pursuing a degree in Biology with a concentration in Integrative Animal biology.  She is planning on pursuing the Veterinary Technology Program at HCC after she graduates from the University of South Florida.  She hopes to someday work at a wildlife refuge or a shelter.

  • Luis Leon
    Veterinary Technician

    Luis joined the Dr. Hong’s team in July of 2015. He currently attends the University of South Florida as a junior, pursuing a bachelor’s in Biology, with a concentration in Integrative Animal Biology. His hobbies include skating, watching movies, and reading. He aspires to become a veterinarian, but he is not yet sure as to which specialty he will pursue in the field of veterinary medicine.

  • Jordan Zastera
    Veterinary Technician

    Jordan started working for Dr. Hong in August of 2015. He currently attends the University of South Florida pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biology with a concentration in integrative animal biology. He hopes to pursue a career in veterinary medicine to work with exotic animals.

  • Morgan Wade
    Veterinary Technician

    Morgan started shadowing Dr Hong in January 2016 and was hired in May of 2016. She will be enrolled in the Veterinary Technology Program at HCC Plant City for Fall 2016, to become a licensed veterinary technician. She has two horses name Badger and Agustis (both Quarter Horses) , and two dogs name Remington (Bloodhound) and Dixie (Bluetick).

  • Bill Heissler
    Groomer

    Bill’s grooming company is called The Groom Room. Bill went to grooming school and has been working at Long Lake Animal Hospital since 2010, but has been a groomer for many more years outside of the office. Bill has a loving wife and three wonderful kids. Bill owns a small farm where he raises and shows rabbits with his daughters. He has two horses, chickens, and five dogs.
